It covers, therefore, the scope of activities of the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Tourist Development and the Ministry of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the special regional provisions on \u201ctransitional support\u201d (Attica, Southern Aegean, Central Greece, Western Macedonia and Central Macedonia), it covers these on a strategic level, but not on a financial: thus, the resources available for the Programme can be invested only in the 8 Objective 1 Regions \u201cConvergence\u201d, meaning that allocations for resources to Structural Funds aimed at competitiveness appear reduced, but this must include the allocations of the five transitional support regions aimed at Competitiveness actions.<br \/>\nThe total funding for this programme will amount to 1.721 bil. Euros.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div id=\"cmsmasters_column_oumsskd1xq\" class=\"cmsmasters_column one_third\" data-animation=\"fadeInUp\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_column_inner\"><div class=\"cmsmasters_toggles toggles_mode_toggle\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_toggle_wrap\" data-tags=\"all \">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_toggle_title\">\n<span class=\"cmsmasters_toggle_plus\">\n<span class=\"cmsmasters_toggle_plus_hor\"><\/span>\n<span class=\"cmsmasters_toggle_plus_vert\"><\/span>\n<\/span>\n<a href=\"#\">Regional Operational Programmes (ROP)<\/a>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_toggle\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_toggle_inner\">\n<p>To implement the developmental planing of the country in the programme period of 2007-2013, Greece was divided into five units, corresponding to five Regional Operational Programmes, as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R.P. MACEDONIA &#8211; THRACE<\/li>\n<li>R.P. WESTERN GREECE \u2013 PELOPONNISOS \u2013 IONIAN ISLANDS<\/li>\n<li>R.P. CRETE AND AEGEAN ISLANDS<\/li>\n<li>R.P. THESSALY \u2013 CENTRAL GREECE &#8211; IPEIROS<\/li>\n<li>R.P.
