Respect for the Environment

Corporate Social Responsibility is expressed through the attitude that every company maintains towards society.

GR.INOX IS COMMITTED to the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, in compliance with the Social Responsibility System Certification Scheme ELLADIKA MAS-ETHOS, which is COMMUNICATED to all its human resources. At the same time, the company respects the environment, human dignity, and the personal data of employees, and believes that everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.

This policy applies to all personnel, executives, partners, and suppliers of the company and concerns all operations related to its field of activity:

“Manufacturing and trading stainless-steel tanks and stainless-steel equipment for industrial use”

To fulfill its commitment, the company sets objectives, provides the necessary resources for achieving them, and cultivates a spirit of social and environmental awareness, so that all personnel promote actions that contribute to addressing social and environmental issues. Through the procedures it implements, continuous improvement and corrective actions are pursued, so that every possible effort is made regarding environmental and social responsibility.

Employees are encouraged to address supervisors or Management for the most appropriate handling of any observed or suspected violation of the corporate policy or applicable legislation. It is the company’s policy to prohibit retaliation or unfair treatment of employees who, in good faith, report such concerns, and everyone must cooperate during internal investigations.

Through this Policy, we commit to:

  • Collaborate to support local communities in achieving their development priorities.
  • Support access for students or trainees only in special cases and for approved purposes, ensuring safe movement of visitors and issuing safety or emergency instructions when required.
  • Respect the cultural heritage of the local area and the regions where we operate.
  • Create opportunities for local residents and businesses to benefit directly and indirectly from the company’s activities.
  • Promote environmental practices to protect the local environment from negative impacts of production by pursuing:
  • Reduction of generated waste and responsible management (recycling and reuse).
  • Energy saving.
  • Inform and raise awareness among personnel on environmental issues.
  • Respect human rights and ensure equal opportunities for all employees regardless of nationality, religion, or gender. No employee is subject to social discrimination, forced or child labour, unlawful employment relations, salary or social security violations.
  • Conduct recruitment processes with transparency and without discrimination.
  • Maintain zero tolerance for all forms of discrimination, violence, and harassment occurring during, linked to, or arising from work.
  • Encourage employees to exercise their rights, assemble, participate in collective bargaining, and be represented without discrimination.
  • Encourage employee training and ensure a safe working environment.
